We exist to monitor, amplify, and deliver the news and resources that matter most to the veteran and military community.
Vets Speak Media is a strategic media network built by veterans, for veterans. Founded by Air Force veteran DeeDee Glodowski, we track global military and defense coverage, surface the stories that affect our community, and give veterans a platform to speak — on their own terms.
With the Veteran Next Weekly newsletter, a growing podcast library, and a curated news feed pulling from the most trusted military outlets, we are committed to keeping the veteran community informed, connected, and heard.
Four Pillars of Coverage
Monitor
We track global military and veteran coverage across major networks — surfacing the stories that affect the community before they fade from the headlines.
Amplify
Through the Vetly Speaking Podcast and our newsletter, we give veterans a platform to share their experiences, expertise, and perspectives in their own words.
Inform
From defense policy and VA health to transition resources and veteran organizations, we deliver timely, relevant intelligence — not noise.
Connect
We bridge the gap between the veteran community and the institutions, resources, and advocates working on their behalf.
Core Values
Service First
Every story we publish, every episode we record, every newsletter we send is in service to the men and women who served.
Accuracy
Veterans deserve facts, not spin. We hold ourselves to the same standard of integrity we were trained to uphold in uniform.
Reach
We go where veterans are — YouTube, LinkedIn, podcast platforms, and the web — so no one in the community is left behind.
Education
From curated book lists to transition program directories, we invest in the long-term success of every veteran who finds us.
Built for the Veteran Community
Active duty service members, veterans, military families, defense professionals, and the civilians who stand beside them — Vets Speak Media is your source for the coverage that keeps you informed and the community that keeps you connected.
Whether you're navigating a VA claim, transitioning to civilian life, looking for your next read, or simply staying current on defense policy — we built this for you.
